Harvester Christian Academy has gone a perfect 6-0 against CrossPointe Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Harvester Christian Academy proved they can win big last Friday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Atlanta Jewish Academy 5-3.
Lleyton Tsai and Greg Stoeckig were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Tsai tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Stoeckig didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over 4.2 innings pitched. Tsai has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. At bat, Tsai scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Stoeckig scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-3. Tsai also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zade Dunlap, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Auston Young also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Harvester Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .323 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, CrossPointe Christian Academy made easy work of Trinity Christian School of Griffin on Friday and carried off a 20-10 win. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by ten runs or more this season.
Gaines Casey was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of CrossPointe Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 2-3-1 when he doesn't). Banks Casey was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Harvester Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for CrossPointe Christian Academy, their record now sits at 6-3-1.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Harvester Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. However, it's not like CrossPointe Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .357. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
