For the first time this season, Sutter will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to challenge the Woodland Wolves at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Sutter will be strutting in after a win while Woodland will be coming in after a loss.
Sutter barely beat Hughson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Sutter put the hurt on Hughson with a sharp 18-8 victory on Saturday. Sutter hasn't had any issues with Hughson recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Dwight Walker looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Meanwhile, Woodland came up short against Woodland Christian on Tuesday and fell 5-1.
Woodland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Salvemini, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Woodland's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Sutter hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .363. It's a different story for Woodland, though, as they've only averaged .125. Will they be able to contain Sutter's hitters?
Sutter skirted past Woodland 2-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
