Alcovy headed into their last game having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Cedar Shoals let them put that streak behind them. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Jaguars on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Raleigh Bolt made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Trey Bryant was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, five stolen bases, and three runs. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Justin Gamble, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Alcovy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cedar Shoals only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, Loganville owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They blew past Collins Hill 9-0. Considering the Red Devils have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Alcovy's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Loganville, their victory bumped their record up to 19-3.
