Madera South managed a 53-49 win over Selma. The victory was all the more spectacular given Madera South's disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 388th, while Selma is ranked 141st).
BRIANNAH LORTA continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points. The game was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was JALISSA KIRKPATRICK, who scored 9 points.
Madera South now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Selma, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Madera South will head out on the road to face off against Immanuel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Selma, they will face off against Mendota at 4:00 p.m. on November 30th.
