The Borrego Springs Rams's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 26-8 win over San Pasqual Academy. For Borrego Springs, this counts as revenge for the 44-23 defeat San Pasqual Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Borrego Springs was led to victory by Abigail Gonzalez and Melanie Urquidez. Gonzalez scored nine points along with four steals, while Urquidez scored ten points along with five steals. Gonzalez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Borrego Springs will be playing at home against West Shores at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Pasqual Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Calexico Mission at 4:00 p.m. on January 18th. Calexico Mission comes in on a streak of failing to score more than ten points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
