This season hasn't been kind to the Entrepreneur Panthers, who are still winless after their sixth match. They were outmatched by Colton at home and fell 58-2. Entrepreneur was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-1.
Colton was led to victory by Olivia Torres and Savannah Govea. Torres dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 steals, while Govea scored 16 points along with 7 steals. Zoey Espino was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 8 steals and 3 blocks.
Entrepreneur bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.0 points per game. As for Colton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Entrepreneur has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome San Jacinto Leadership Academy at 4:00 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully San Jacinto Leadership Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Friday. As for Colton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Notre Dame at 4:00 p.m.
