Hobbs had won three straight games and Junior Medrano did his part to make it four on Thursday. The Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Organ Mountain Knights 51-12 with plenty of help from Medrano, who rushed for 165 yards and two scores on only nine carries, and also threw for 148 yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 124 rushing yards.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Hobbs, racking up 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Justice French, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Although Organ Mountain took the loss, they still got scores from Brandon Olivas and Zeke Weir.
Hobbs' record now sits at 7-2. As for Organ Mountain, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
Hobbs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 31-13 win against Carlsbad on the 31st. Organ Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
