Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goddard). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors 54-0. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Desert Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Goddard's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Santa Teresa, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Goddard will take on rival Lovington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Santa Teresa is set to square off against their familiar foe Mayfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
