After a string of three wins, Baker's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Immanuel Christian Crusaders, falling 44-6. The Braves lost against the Crusaders in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 24-22 score last time.

Baker got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Jimena Galvez and Claudia Licona, who each put up two points. Lorena Licona held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Baker's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Immanuel Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
