The Nevada Union Miners's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They took down Pajaro Valley 33-18. The win was just what Nevada Union needed coming off of a 52-27 loss in their prior match.
Nevada Union found their leader in underclassman Katie Enos, who scored 11 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Enos has scored at least 25% of Nevada Union's points. Another player making a difference was Serena Buehler, who scored 7 points.
Nevada Union's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Pajaro Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Rio Americano the next time they take the court. Nevada Union will head out to face Rio Americano at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Pajaro Valley will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
