Cole Allen Delivers Best Effort of Season
St. John was led to victory by Cole Allen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Allen rushed for 332 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 62 yards.
Allen is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Episcopal on Friday. When Allen last faced the Knights back in October of 2023, he rushed for 276 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry.

Another Game with at Least Two Rushing Touchdowns from Wayne Shanks Jr.
Kinkaid was led to victory by Wayne Shanks Jr., who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Shanks Jr. wasn't messing around, rushing for 275 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. The match was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 64 yards.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Kinkaid, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons faces off against Episcopal School of Dallas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Dean Calhoun Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Dean Calhoun continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fourth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 101 rushing yards. He rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (101.2).
Cooper's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. Calhoun and Cooper will challenge St. Mark's at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

A Season-Best Performance from David Capobianco Leads Kinkaid over St. Mark's
Kinkaid was led to victory by David Capobianco, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Capobianco threw for 169 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (17) he has had since back in September of 2023.
It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons challenges Episcopal School of Dallas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Eagles, probably because Capobianco had a solid game then too: he threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

A Constellation of Stars for Kinkaid
Another Kinkaid player making an appearance on this list is Jordan Manuel. He picked up 99 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 53 yards.
If the past is any indication, Manuel could be in store for another big game when he takes on Episcopal School of Dallas on Friday. When Manuel last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he picked up 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
