Golden had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Pomona Panthers as they made off with a 12-0 win. Considering the Demons have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Adrianna Riddle made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Riddle was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Golden let Daely Peterson and Reagan Smith run wild. Peterson went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI, while Smith went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Peterson is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played.
