Bedford is on a four-game streak of home losses, Bellefonte an eight-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Bedford Bisons will take on the Bellefonte Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Bedford suffered their biggest loss since December 22, 2023 on Monday. They suffered a tough 54-32 defeat at the hands of Central Cambria. While losing is never fun, Bedford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 470th, while Central Cambria is ranked 146th).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Katie Mcdevitt, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Rebekah Costal, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Bellefonte was the victim of a tough 57-33 loss at the hands of Penns Valley Area on Thursday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bellefonte in their matchups with Penns Valley Area: they've now lost seven in a row.
Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Bellefonte, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
