The Alvord Bulldogs lost against the Bowie Jackrabbits back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Alvord took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bowie. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alvord has scored all season.
Bowie had a senior duo take command as Tucker Jones scored 16 points along with five rebounds and Andrew Sandhoff scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. That's the first time this season that Jones scored 15 or more points. Rayder Mann was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds.
Alvord now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Bowie, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Alvord will head out on the road to face off against Muenster at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Muenster will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Bowie will be home for the holidays to greet Iowa Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Iowa Park will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
