The Albert Gallatin Colonials won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 83-63 walloping at the hands of Southmoreland. While losing is never fun, Albert Gallatin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while Southmoreland is ranked 137th).
Leading Southmoreland to victory were Ty Keffer and Noah Felentzer. Keffer scored 24 points, while Felentzer scored 27 points. Keffer hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Elliot Premus was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Albert Gallatin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Southmoreland, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2.
Albert Gallatin will take on Elizabeth Forward at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Elizabeth Forward is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Southmoreland, they will head out on the road to challenge Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
