Basketball Recap: Winters Beats Dixon for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Winters waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They secured a 32-27 W over the Dixon Rams. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Winters pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.7 points per game. As for Dixon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winters will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pierce at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Dixon, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pioneer at 6:30 p.m. on December 27th.
