Northgate extended their postseason success on Thursday against Lakeside. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Lakeside. The result was nothing new for Northgate, who have now won 14 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Northgate has been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Lakeside, their loss dropped their record down to 18-11-1.

Northgate didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Pope on the 29th. Lakeside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
