Madison Burris was Northeast's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Burris also led the team in rebounds with nine.
Kamaria Brown took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Northeast dropped their record down to 1-13 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.2 points per game. As for South River, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.
Northeast won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Broadneck is coming into the match hot, having won their last 11 games. As for South River, they will take on the Wildcats at TBD on Friday. Arundel will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Seahawks are ranked 19th).
