The El Dorado Cougars will head out to square off against the Antelope Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Dorado will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Last Saturday, El Dorado got the win against Golden Sierra by a conclusive 14-3. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Gavin Ashton was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of El Dorado's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 7-8 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Joe Parsons was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. El Dorado is undefeated when Parsons posts three or more RBI, but 7-8 otherwise. Rylan Phillips was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
El Dorado always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Antelope came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and Inderkum finished up on equal footing with a 6-6 draw on Tuesday.
With that draw, Antelope's record moves to 6-9-1. As for El Dorado, their record is now 10-8.
Everything went El Dorado's way against Antelope in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as El Dorado made off with an 18-5 victory. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
