Carson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Wheeler, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Wheeler hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Sydney Jackson, who scored nine points along with seven assists and five steals.
Banning's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Melony Bernabe, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and three steals. Bernabe hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for three straight games. Tavanna Price was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Carson pushed their record up to 14-10 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Banning, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
