The High Tech SD Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 31 points or more this season. They blew past El Cajon Valley 52-21 on the road. The victory was just what High Tech SD needed coming off of a 62-30 loss in their prior matchup.
Vivianna Cravens continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma LaSalle, who scored nine points along with nine steals and five rebounds.
Despite the loss, El Cajon Valley saw an underclassman step up: Kiyara Millice scored eight points.
High Tech SD's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for El Cajon Valley, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
High Tech SD will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Kearny at 1:30 p.m. on December 22nd. El Cajon Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Mount Miguel at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Miguel is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
