Georgetown Day took down the 61-47 on Thursday. 61 seems to be a good number for Georgetown Day as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Georgetown Day to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cai Roberson, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Roberson has scored all season. Nevaeh Roberson was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Georgetown Day is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Holton-Arms, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.
Georgetown Day will take on the Maroon at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Episcopal focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Holton-Arms, they will head out on the road to take on the Saints at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 220th in Virginia, while the are ranked ninth in Maryland).
