The Mountain View Academy Mustangs will be playing at home against the East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View Academy will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Tuesday, Mountain View Academy strolled past the Lobos with points to spare, taking the game 40-21.
Leilani Wright was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kayla Dhumad, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, East Palo Alto Academy had to suffer through a rough 50-2 loss at the hands of the Lobos.
Mountain View Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for East Palo Alto Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for Mountain View Academy against the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 50-3 victory. Will Mountain View Academy repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
