Basketball Recap: Springfield Township Takes a Loss

Springfield Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Lower Moreland Lions 79-50. One positive for the Spartans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Springfield Township's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lower Moreland, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield Township will take on William Tennent in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lower Moreland, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lower Moreland Lions take on the Upper Dublin Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Upper Dublin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Lower Moreland likes a good challenge.
