Audenried entered their tilt with the Freire Charter Dragon with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Audenried came out on top against the Dragon by a score of 44-37 on Wednesday. Given Audenried's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Dragon are ranked 384th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Shayla Smith continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Senaya Parker was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five steals.
Audenried has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Freire Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
Audenried will head out on the road to challenge the at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Freire Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
