The Millennium Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 18th straight loss. They were beaten by Cornerstone Charter 61-12. Millennium found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post seven fewer assists than your opponent.
Tyler Handy was Millennium's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Aryan Hira held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
It was another big night for D'Trevion Harris, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 14 rebounds for Cornerstone Charter. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harris has scored all season. Tristan Cole was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Millennium dropped their record down to 1-18 with that loss, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cornerstone Charter, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millennium will challenge Bethany at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Millennium is facing Bethany at the right time seeing as Bethany is stuck on a 19-game losing streak. Cornerstone Charter's road trip will continue as they head out to face College Prep & Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th.
