North Carolina High School Basketball - Cornerstone Charter crushes Millennium

February 6, 2024: Mount Airy, NC 27030

Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC), 61-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Cornerstone Charter upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Cardinals travel to College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC) to clash with the Royals in a 1A Northwest Piedmont bout on Friday, February 9. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 14-9. College Prep & Leadership Academy lost 61-48 in their recent non-league bout against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont bout, on Thursday, February 8. Millennium will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 1-24 record after their 94-17 league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC).
