North Carolina High School Basketball - Winston-Salem Prep fells Cornerstone Charter

February 13, 2024: Greensboro, NC 27409

Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), 60-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Winston-Salem Prep upgrades its record to 11-13 on the season. The Phoenix travel to College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC) to play the Royals in a 1A Northwest Piedmont bout on Monday, February 19. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 16-9. College Prep & Leadership Academy won 67-43 in their recent league bout against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont bout, on Friday, February 16. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record.
