The Mission College Prep Royals won the last time they faced the San Luis Obispo Tigers, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Mission College Prep came out on top against the Tigers by a score of  58-46. Given Mission College Prep's advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 188th, while the Tigers are ranked 395th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Mission College Prep got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Gwen Nelson out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 11  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Nelson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keahi Guy, who  scored 15 points along with six  assists.
 Mission College Prep has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for San Luis Obispo, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.
 Mission College Prep will  take on the Pirates at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Morro Bay will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive. San Luis Obispo will take on the Bearcats at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
