Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Seventy-First walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 43-7 victory over the Jacksonville Cardinals. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 14 matches by 21 points or more so far this season.

Seventy-First's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Donavan Frederick led the charge by rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. With that strong performance, Frederick is now averaging an impressive 103.4 rushing yards per game. Jayson Franklin also helped out as he racked up 130 rushing yards.

Frederick was just one part of a punishing run game: Seventy-First was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 445 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 314 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Seventy-First's win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36 points. As for Jacksonville, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2.

Seventy-First and West Charlotte will compete for holiday cheer at 11:00 a.m. on December 21st. West Charlotte will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Seventy-First surely won't give up without a fight. Jacksonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
