Port Allegany's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brynn Evens, who scored 11 points along with two blocks, and Ella Moses who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Moses has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played.
Oswayo Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Port Allegany, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oswayo Valley will take on the Hubbers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port Allegany, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Cameron County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
