Trevor Honstrom and Joe Moore provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Cromwell. The longest such play in Great Northern (9 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 63 yards.
The Cardinals' Zach Kinstel rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against McGregor last week. Kinstel scampered for 83 yards on the play and finished with 200 on the day as his team bested the Mercuries.
Jared Hutar put up the best numbers through the air as Jeff Gronner's team beat McGregor. He finished with six completions for 138 yards and three touchdowns. Hutar's favorite target this week was Austin Pfisthner, who caught three passes for 59 yards.
Moore was the best wideout in the league this week as Bob Staska's team lost to the Cardinals. Moore tallied three receptions for 92 yards.
Cromwell's Hutar and Josh Oliver have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Great Northern (9 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Hutar has thrown for 418 yards this season, while Oliver has seven catches for 164 yards. The Mercuries' Andrew Demenge leads the league in rushing yards with 544.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Isle takes on the Cardinals. At the moment, the Huskies are in sixth, while Cromwell is in fourth.
Isle was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in the league. Stan Miller's team defeated Wrenshall 24-12 earlier in the week.
