Even though the Ridgeview Wolf Pack have not done well against the Bakersfield Drillers recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Ridgeview enjoyed a cozy 54-38 win over Bakersfield. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ridgeview.
Kenadi Walton continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Beserra, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Ridgeview now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Bakersfield, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.
Ridgeview will take on Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Bakersfield, they will head out on the road to square off against Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Liberty focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
