The Johnsonburg Rams lost against the St. Marys Flying Dutch back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Johnsonburg took a serious blow against St. Marys, falling 64-25. Johnsonburg has struggled against St. Marys recently, as their contest on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Johnsonburg still got an impressive performance from Zoey Grunthaner, who scored six points.
Johnsonburg now has a losing record at 3-4. As for St. Marys, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnsonburg will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brookville at 7:15 p.m. on January 15th. As for St. Marys, they will head out on the road to face off against DuBois Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. DuBois Central Catholic is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
