Softball Recap: Mangum Wins Going Away Against Leedey

Mangum was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Leedey on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bison with a sharp 9-1 victory. Considering the Tigers have won 15 contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Paelyn Clark made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hanna Stehr, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Lowe, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs.

Mangum's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 21-7. As for Leedey, they moved to 25-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Mangum nor the Bison have any future games scheduled.
