Rockdale County was forced to take a big loss against South Gwinnett on Wednesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. The Bulldogs blew past the Comets 17-3. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by eight runs or more this season.

Rockdale County's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-13. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for South Gwinnett, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Rockdale County and South Gwinnett could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Bulldogs (ranked 294th) will meet Grovetown (ranked 42nd) at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, South Gwinnett will square off against Grayson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (310 vs. 109).
