Pacheco has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Mountain House Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Pacheco focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Pacheco was able to grind out a solid win over Grace Davis, taking the game 48-39.
Sasha S siemiller was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan San pedro, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Mountain House entered their tilt with Los Banos with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Mountain House came out on top against Los Banos by a score of 52-43 on Thursday.
It was another big night for Jariah Indalecio, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Niara Mangrum was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Pacheco now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Mountain House, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Pacheco came up short against Mountain House when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 37-31. Can Pacheco avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
