After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Wheeler finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the Walton Raiders, falling 16-0. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Walton, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Coming up, Wheeler will face off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Walton, they will take on East Forsyth at 12:00 p.m. on the 27th.
