Meanwhile, Big Bear's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Riverside Prep, falling 64-12. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Big Bear has scored all season.
Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Big Bear, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-15.
Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Big Bear in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 50-44 win.
