Quakertown is 0-6 against Abington since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Quakertown Panthers will be home for the holidays to greet the Abington Galloping Ghosts at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Quakertown can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Upper Perkiomen as Quakertown made off with a 46-21 win. Quakertown's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Abington strolled past West Catholic with points to spare on Sunday, taking the game 60-45.
Quakertown's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-6. As for Abington, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Quakertown was dealt a bruising 74-42 loss at the hands of Abington in their previous meeting back in February. Can Quakertown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
