Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Wyoming Area). They took their  game  on Friday with ease, bagging  a  47-10 win over MMI Preparatory School. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Warriors have posted  since January 15, 2024.
 Leading Wyoming Area to victory were  Shannon Kearns and  Krea Bonita.  Kearns  went 5 of 9  en route to 11  points along with eight  rebounds and six  steals, while  Bonita  went 6 for 10  on her way to 14 points and three  steals. That's the most  steals  Kearns has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abigail Sterba, who  posted eight points and four  steals.
Wyoming Area's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for MMI Preparatory School,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-5.
 Wyoming Area and MMI Preparatory School could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Wyoming Area (ranked 465th) will meet Lake-Lehman (ranked 189th)  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Similarly,  MMI Preparatory School (ranked 581st) will meet Greater Nanticoke Area (ranked 271st)  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
