The Lincoln Fighting Zebras stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They put the hurt on West Park with a sharp 71-48 win. Given Lincoln's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while West Park is ranked 454th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maya Hodge, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isa Keidel, who scored 19 points.
Despite the loss, West Park still got an impressive performance from Jill Ngo, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds. Lynae White was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. As for West Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-13.
Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Park also has no future games currently scheduled.
