Lexington barely beat Braymer the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Minutemen blew past the Bobcats 20-5 on Monday. The Minutemen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.
Lexington got a massive performance out of Kinsley Worthington, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Hunter Adkins, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Lexington lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in September of 2024.
Lexington's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6. As for Braymer, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
