Quartz Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ashantee Palmer, who scored 14 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mandy Frozina, who scored 11 points along with seven steals and five rebounds.
Palmdale has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Quartz Hill, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmdale will face off against Knight at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Knight is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Quartz Hill, they will head out on the road to challenge Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
