Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Lakeland over George Jenkins in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Lakeland blew George Jenkins out of the water with a 59-0 final score. The result was nothing new for Lakeland, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Zander Smith looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 269 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes. Jamar Taylor Jr was another key contributor, picking up 102 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Clearwater Academy International to 3-4 and Lakeland to 6-2.
