Lowell has gone 9-1 against Mission recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Cardinals will head out on the road to face off against the Bears at 3:30 p.m. Lowell's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Mission's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
It was a proper cat-fight when Lowell duked it out with Woodside on Saturday. The Cardinals walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Wildcats. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on three straight.

Julian Cook made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Cook wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Auden Szalva, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Szalva has posted since back in March.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Mission made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lick-Wilmerding on Monday. The Bears blew past the Tigers 13-5. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Mission also got a great performance from Arman Sheikh as he struck out nine batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Rowan Powell, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of Mission's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-13 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Isaiah Dantzler, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Lowell's record now sits at 15-7. As for Mission, their record is now 5-14.
Mission's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lowell hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. It's a different story for Mission, though, as they've only averaged .255. Will they be able to contain Lowell's hitters?
Lowell was able to grind out a solid win over Mission when the teams last played back in March, winning 10-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
