Baseball Game Preview: Mays Raiders vs. Creekside Seminoles

Mays had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Southern Lab on Monday. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Kittens. With that win, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Mays let Ronald Tucker and TyReon Byner run wild. Tucker scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Byner scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Amari McEachin McEachin was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Creekside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Mays, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.

Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mays has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .463.
