Linden waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Riverbank Bruins get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Justin Sales looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brody Black, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Braden Busalacchi, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Linden was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Linden pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Riverbank, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Linden beat the Bruins by a score of 11-0 later that day.
