The Anaheim Colonists put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Warren as Anaheim made off with a 69-45 victory. Anaheim might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Anaheim was led to victory by Elise Marquez and Ashley Guzman. Marquez dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 assists, while Guzman scored 23 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Marquez is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aleah McGregor, who scored 9 points along with 5 steals.
Anaheim pushed their record up to 8-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Warren, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Anaheim will be playing in front of their home fans against Valencia at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warren, they will head out on the road to face off against Whittier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whittier and Warren are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
