It was another big night for Riley Walden, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five steals for Tehachapi. The game was Walden's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamie Neaderbaomer, who scored 14 points along with five assists and three steals.
South's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.0 points per game. As for Tehachapi, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
